The background and qualifications of our senior accountants are detailed below:

Mrs Donna Grant, B.Bus, CPA, JP

Donna is a founding principal of Farm Plan Plus. She is from a rural background, having been raised on an agricultural property in South-East Queensland. Donna and her husband still maintain an active business interest in agriculture through their ownership of a cattle property near Gunnedah.

Donna holds a Bachelor of Business (Acc) attained from the University of Southern Queensland. She is also a qualified CPA and a Justice of the Peace. She is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Agriculture at the University of New England. Her background is in the finance industry. Prior to commencing this business, she worked for Westpac Banking Corporation for over 8 years in a variety of positions in both Queensland and New South Wales. Her last position with Westpac was as an Agribusiness Manager in the Riverina.

She travels to South-East Qld and throughout NSW on a regular basis to visit with clients. She is based at our Spring Ridge office.

Mrs Janice Harris, M.Acc, MNIA

Janice holds many qualifications including a Master of Accountancy, Bachelor of Education and a Graduate Certificate in Total Quality Management. She is from a rural background, having been reared on a dairy farm and more recently, with her husband, having involvement in dairying and beef cattle operations. She has also acquired extensive small business experience through her involvement in real estate, stock and station and sawmilling businesses in the past.

Janice’s past employment has included training roles in the area of business and computing, management roles with a focus on business improvement and quality assurance and accounting and systems implementation roles with clients from local government and private enterprise.

She is looking forward to working with and meeting Farm Plan Plus clients
